TU Delft GSE Lab

The facilities at the GSE Lab at the faculty of Civil Engineering and Geoscience (CEG) at Delft University of Technology enable researchers to study mechanical, geological, geophysical, and geotechnical properties and processes, but also biological, chemical or hydrological processes. This means we capture everything that is relevant to subsurface characterization and engineering. The lab thus facilitates a multitude of disciplines to understand and utilise responsibly the resources inside our planet Earth. When first opened, the lab was focused on the mining industry.
